You won’t find any nasties in our formulations, they’re all PFC-free.

A water-based first

In 1947, we developed the first-ever water-based protection products, paving the way for environmentally-responsible protection.

Bluesign® accredited

In 2007, we were the first aftercare brand in the world to receive bluesign® accreditation.  And now over 10 years later, we’re proud to still be a full bluesign® system partner. The bluesign® standard is a tool that certifies the eco-friendliness of the entire production chain. Instead of focusing on finished product testing, the bluesign® standard analyses all input streams – from raw materials to chemical components. This accreditation means you can be rest assured that our products are cleaner, safer and more environmentally-responsible.

A new home for Grangers

Our new premises, which will make our new home junction 29A of the M1, is being built entirely with the environment in mind.  From solar panels, to eliminating waste from our production line, we’re making sure our new premises are as eco-friendly as possible.

APT

Advanced Polymer Technology (APT) is our own blend of fluorocarbon-free polymers and emulsions. This blend is consistently reviewed by our in-house dedicated Laboratory team to ensure that we provide the best possible protection in the most environmentally-responsible way.

 

ISO 9001 & 14001

These accreditations mark our commitment to manufacturing. To this day, most of our products are still manufactured at our Headquarters, in Derbyshire, which allows us complete control over the quality of our products throughout the entire production process. All our manufacturing processes are conducted with the environment in mind, ensuring true environmentally-responsible protection.

 

RDS

 

We support the Responsible Down Standard (RDS), ensuring that we only work with brands that use ethically-sourced down.

 

EOCA

We are a longstanding member of the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA), an outdoor trade organisation which provides grants to conservation projects around the world.

SATRA

 We have a longstanding partnership with SATRA, an independent authority on footwear, leather goods and apparel. SATRA conduct safety and durability testing and are a ‘notified body’ for the EU, which means they are certified to administer and check for trading and manufacturing standards.
