Rug Repel adds durable repellency to all horse blankets and rugs, maximising breathability and restoring performance.

 

When horse rugs get wet and clammy, horses begin to feel uncomfortable. All you need to keep them dry, even in a torrential downpour, is Grangers' Rug Repel – a durable waterproofing treatment, formulated to keep horse rugs and blankets dry.

*Top tip* We’d always recommend cleaning your gear with Rug Wash before adding any water-repellent treatment.

How to use

MACHINE WASH:

1. Clean article using Rug Wash before application.

2. Use 300ml per article.

3. Shake bottle.

4. Pour into washing machine drawer.

5. Ensure washing machine is large enough so that articles can move freely.

6. Wash according to care label instructions.

7. Air-dry or tumble-dry if care label permits.*

N.B: If using a Top Loader, double dosage.

*All Grangers protection products are effective when air-dried. However, for optimum durability, we recommend applying a small amount of heat such as a tumble dryer or hairdryer.


HAND WASH:

1. Clean article using Rug Wash before application.

2. Spread rug out on a clean surface.

3. Pour 200ml into 1 litre of warm water.

4. Use a clean lint-free cloth to apply all over.

5. Ensure thorough and even coverage.

6. Air-dry or tumble-dry if care label permits.*

7. Allow to thoroughly dry before use.
